GetLoanSorted operates getloansorted.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Who we are

GetLoanSorted is an online lead referral service based in Western Australia. We connect people looking for home loans with licensed mortgage brokers. We are not a mortgage broker, credit provider, or financial adviser.

What we collect

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your preferred contact time
• Your loan purpose and approximate loan amount

We also collect standard website usage data through Meta Pixel (Facebook), including pages visited and actions taken. See the "Advertising and tracking" section below.

Why we collect it

We collect your personal information for one primary purpose: to pass your enquiry to a licensed Perth mortgage broker so they can contact you about home loan options. By submitting the form on our site, you consent to this use.

We do not use your personal information for any other purpose without your consent.

Who we share your information with

When you submit an enquiry, your personal information is shared with:

• A licensed Perth mortgage broker. This is the core purpose of our service. The broker will contact you directly using the details you provided. They are bound by their own privacy obligations under the Privacy Act and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act.
• Web3Forms. We use Web3Forms to receive and forward form submissions by email. Web3Forms is operated by a company based in the United States. By submitting our form, your information passes through their servers. You can read their privacy policy at web3forms.com.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, marketing lists, or any other third parties.

Overseas disclosure

Web3Forms and Meta (Facebook) are US-based services. When your information is processed by these services, it may be stored or handled outside Australia. Under APP 8, we take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, but we cannot guarantee overseas recipients will comply with Australian privacy law in every case.

Advertising and tracking

We use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This tool records when pages are viewed and when a form is submitted (as a "Lead" event). This data is shared with Meta Platforms Inc. in the United States and may be used by Meta for advertising measurement and optimisation. You can opt out of Meta's data use at your Meta account privacy settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance at youronlinechoices.com.au.

How we store your information

Form submissions are received by email via Web3Forms and passed directly to the relevant broker. We do not maintain a separate database of personal information collected through this site. The broker you are connected with is responsible for storing and managing your information once it is passed to them.

Access and correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. To make a request, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

If your information has already been passed to a broker, you will also need to contact that broker directly to exercise your rights over the information they hold.

Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal information in a way that does not comply with the Privacy Act, please contact us first and we will try to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
